Therapy gives you the inner resources and outer tools to manage the storms of anxiety, depression, work stress, relationship challenges, trauma, and addiction — making the unbearable bearable and putting you in touch with your true Self.

Through an active, strength-based process, we will join forces to unlock your innate capacity to grow and heal. This asks you to turn towards the places/feelings/sensations you might normally avoid in order to experience of them more fully and release the weight they’ve been adding to your life. Through doing this, you’re able to uncover the ‘old model’ of operating that is often based on outdated beliefs and fears about yourself, relationships, and the world, and update it with a new narrative that is more aligned with the person you want to be now. This gives you more choice in how you respond to life's challenges rather than being a victim to habitual patterns.

Key parts of this process include body awareness, working with conflicting ‘parts’ of the self, learning to give ourselves the care we needed but didn’t get as kids, getting in touch with deeper feelings/longings/fears, understanding our defenses and what they’re trying to protect us from, and managing overwhelming feelings in a more constructive way.

This process looks differently for each person so we will define what progress looks like for you, stopping to celebrate moments of growth and change along the way.
