"I am not what happened to me, I am what I choose to become"


No matter who we are or where we come from, we all reach moments in our lives where our normal ways of getting by aren’t enough.  We want to feel more happy, confident and present in our lives but we don’t know how.  Sometimes we don’t even know what’s wrong, just that something feels out of balance and we can’t find our way home.  My goal is to help you develop a new way of relating to yourself, others, and the world that is more in line with the person you want to be.

A major benefit of therapy is gaining more freedom to choose how you respond to life's challenges rather than be a victim to habitual patterns.  This is possible as you gain a deeper understanding about what makes you tick - your triggers, fears, conflicting inner needs, and the strategies you use to hold it all together. From this awareness, along with greater self-compassion, you can become less reactive and more resource-full.
